Adult hockey is great way to stay involved in the game! The CAHA Adult Committee helps facilitate the flow of information between USA Hockey and the adult hockey community in the Carolinas plus support member events like some of the services listed below. Adult Ice Hockey Program
USA Hockey’s Adult Ice Hockey Program is designed with the needs of players, facilities and league operators in mind. The program offers benefits and services that allow the player to enjoy the adult hockey experience and provides the tools for league operators to administer a safe and competitive playing environment. The program also offers a wide variety of playing opportunities for men and women that range from pond hockey to national championships. These events are designed all teams have a great playing and social experience in cities around the country. There are over 148,000 adult players around the country enjoying the benefits and services of USA Hockey and the Adult Ice Hockey Program.
2025 Adult Hockey Events
Each year USA Hockey hosts a full slate of Adult Classic tournaments. These events are recreational, non-check tournaments held in destination cities across the country. A variety of divisions are offered for both men and women 21 years of age and older and all players must be currently registered with USA Hockey. Adult Hockey Support Packages
Interested in doing something special for your USA Hockey Adult registered league? The CAHA Adult Committee is ready to support Adult Hockey directors with the options below. Just pick the package(s) that are most desirable to your league, contact us with you’re the date you are interested in executing the event, and we’ll work with you to celebrate adult hockey!
Group A - Pick two items per season:
- Sponsor perpetual plaques to recognize league champions
- Sponsor captains’ meeting with a swag package that includes a mix of USA Hockey or CAHA branded items
- Sponsor registered adult tournaments with a swag package that includes a mix of USA Hockey or CAHA branded items
- Sponsor special recognition awards

Group B - Pick one item per season:
- Sponsor an all-star game or a captains’ appreciation game
- Sponsor member service awards recognizing 5, 10, 15, etc. years of consecutive membership in CAHA
Adult Hockey Events
Interested in hosting a different type of event for your USA Hockey Adult registered league or trying to grow your leagues? The CAHA Adult Committee is ready partner with your Adult Hockey director to support an adult 3v3 cross ice event, an adult skills clinic, or complete an application for a free learn-to-play equipment grant.
Adult Ice Hockey Program Resource Guidebook
USA Hockey Adult Department has released an updated version of the Adult Ice Hockey Program Resource Guidebook.
The new and improved guidebook will allow adult programs around the country to better serve their hockey playing customers. The information of best practices was developed by member adult programs, adult council and national staff collectively.
