CAHA Girls' 8U & 10U Pond Hockey Jamboree

The Carolina Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) invites you to participate in a 8U/10U Girls’ Pond Hockey Jamboree being held over the Labor Day weekend at Extreme Ice Center. The event is sponsored by CAHA in conjunction with the 4 Affiliate’s Cup Girls’ Hockey Tournament taking place from September 1 -3. The event is open to all skill levels and teams will be determined through individual registration. This CAHA sponsored event is offered at a minimal charge (see below) and is open to any age appropriate female hockey player that wants to attend.

Shawna Davidson, USA Hockey Women’s Sled Program Head Coach, National Team Scout, and former collegiate and National Team Player will be our guest for the weekend.

The 8U/10U Girls’ Pond Hockey Jamboree is open to all female players in birth years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Individual registration is required and jamboree teams will be formed from all registrations. Each participant will receive a team jersey for the Saturday afternoon event.

3:15 – 4:00 pm, Optional Off-ice Session (Please wear work-out clothes.)

2018 Southeast District Girls' Player Development Tryouts

Tryouts for National and Multi District Camps for Summer 2018 will be held April 20-22, 2018 at the RDV Den in Maitland, FL (North Orlando).

Girls born in Birth Years 2001,2002 and 2003 (considered 15,16 and 17 year olds for 2018 Camps) are eligible to tryout for the National Camps.

Girls born in 2004 are eligible to tryout for the 14 year old Multi-District Camp or an Eastern Select camp.

Girls born in 2005,2006 and 2007 (11,12,13 year olds) may not attend tryouts but may be nominated to attend the multi-district camp. The girl’s coach should write a recommendation and send to Jane Solverson Girls should be skilled for their age group, very motivated to improve and mature enough to handle an away camp.
