Girls' 12 and 13 Camp - 2010 and 2011 Birth Years

The Girls 12-13 camp is made up of players who were born in 2010 & 2011. This coming summer is the 19th year that the camp has been held in the Mid Am District. The purpose of the camp is to provide a developmental experience for the players while giving them a chance to compete and develop friendships with other players in the Mid Am District and other Districts in USA Hockey.

Girls' 12 and 13 Camp - CAHA Multi-District Tryout

The Carolina Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) invites you to participate in our Affiliate tryouts for the USA Hockey Multi-District 12–13 Camp at Bowling Green State University. The tryout will take place on Saturday, April 22 at Extreme Ice Center in Charlotte, NC. Tryout times will be posted as soon as the schedule is finalized and expect a morning and afternoon on-ice session. This tryout will be run in conjunction with the Southeast District Girls’ Player Development Tryouts occurring the same weekend. Please note that tryouts will take the place of coaching recommendations for the camp. This CAHA sponsored event is open to 2010 & 2011 female hockey players residing within the CAHA Affiliate.

2023 Girls Multi District Camp Selections

The purpose of the Girls Multi District Camps is to provide a developmental experience for female players while giving them a chance to compete and develop friendships with players in other Districts in USA Hockey.

2022 Southeastern District Girls Player Development Tryout Registration

The 2022 Southeastern District Player Development Tryouts will be held the weekend of April 29 May 1, 2022. The event will be hosted by State Amateur Hockey of Florida. The host rink will be Advent Health Center Ice in Wesley, Chapel, FL.

This tryout will be for girls with birth years 2005 to 2008 only. Players will be selected for the following player development camps.

  • Eastern Select 14 Camp in Manchester, NH
    June 26 - 30, 2022
    Birth year 2008 only
  • Multi-District Camp held in Bowling Green, OH
    July 31 - August 5, 2022
    Birth years 2005-2008
  • Multi District Goalie Camp held in Bowling Green, OH
    July 31- August 5, 2022
    Birth years 2005-2008
  • USA Hockey 15 Player Dev Camp held in St Cloud, MN 
    July 8 -13, 2022 
    Birth year 2007 only 
  • USA Hockey 16/17 Player Dev Camp held in St Cloud, MN 
    June 25 - July 1, 2022
    Birth years 2005-2006
  • USA Hockey Under-18 Select Player Dev Camp held in St Cloud, MN
    July 15 - 21, 2022
    Birth years 2005-2007

The registration link will go live on March 15 at 6:00 PM and will close as soon as 40 girls per birth year is reached or April 20, 2022 (whichever comes first).  We are still following modified COVID policies.

No walk ins will be accepted. All players must pre-register. Registration will close when 40 girls have signed up in each birth year or by April 22, 2022 whichever comes first. No exceptions.

Registration fees are $225.  This fee is non-refundable.  Fees may be applied to a future year.

2021 Girls Player Development Tryout

The 2021 Southeastern District Player Development Tryouts will be held the weekend of May 21-23, 2021. The event will be hosted by Southern Amateur Hockey Association. The host rink will be Ford Ice Center in Antioch, TN (Nashville).

This tryout will be for girls with birth years 2004-2006 only. Players will be selected for the following player development camps.

Girls'/Women's Update

The following information was provided by the USA Hockey National Office. Member Associations - please share with coaches and administration within your associations.

  • Girls presentation from USA Hockey.
  • Legislative Proposals that will be reviewed during the January Winter Meeting and voted on at the June 2020 Annual Meeting.
  • Minutes from the last Girls/Women's Committee call - next one scheduled in January 2020.
  • Girls registration number table for the past ten years (each state tab at the bottom of spreadsheet) Of note is the first decline in 6U registrations in a number of years.
  • Memo from Jim Smith (USAH President) with some details on the Women's Leadership Summit that USA Hockey is hosting. Stacey Livingston and Alyssa Gagliardi are being sponsored by CAHA to attend.
