Carolina Amateur Hockey Association

We are excited to announce the 2021 CAHA Coaching Symposium Series. This series of Zoom workshops is open to any coach in CAHA and is FREE to all participants. Please review the different sessions and sign up for those that you want to attend.

For all workshops presented by CAHA, you will be sent the Zoom link about 3-4 days before the session.

A sign-up link for the Zoom workshops hosted by Positive Coaching Alliance will be sent to all participants and once you register, you will be sent the Zoom link about a week before the session.

Session 1 will be rescheduled in the Fall.

Session 2 - Wednesday, June 23, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Successful Coaching Concepts for Today's Youth Player with emphasis on teaching athleticism on and off the ice and understanding unconscious bias presented by Andrey Romanov, BESO Hockey Moscow, Russia and Stephanie Jackson, USA Hockey.

Session 3 - Wednesday, August 11, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Modern Concepts in Goaltending Development presented by Rick Murray, Southeastern District Goaltending Coach-in-Chief and Brian Haaland, CAHA Goalie Development Coordinator.

Session 4 - Sunday, August 22, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Double Goal Coach: Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons hosted by the Positive Coach Alliance.

Session 5 - Wednesday, September 15, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Sports Can Battle Racism hosted by the Positive Coaching Alliance.
